Chief Justice Peshawar High Court has issued orders to shut down Tik Tak app across the country till it stops immoral content.


 A petition filed against Kotak Talk was heard in the Peshawar High Court on Thursday. DGPTA, Deputy Attorney General and petitioner's counsel Nazish Muzaffar and Sara Ali appeared in the court.


 Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan had remarked that uploading videos on Tik Tak is not acceptable to our society.  He further remarked that obscenity was spreading in the society through tick talk videos so it should be stopped immediately.

 The Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court further remarked that Tik Tak should be stopped till the officials of Tik Tak act on your request and cooperate with you to stop immoral content. Tik Tak is affecting most of the youth and it  The report that is being received about is unfortunate.


 Chief Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan further inquired as to where the office controlling tick-tock was. The DGPTA said that the head office was in Singapore and not its office in Pakistan and it was being controlled from Dubai.


 Reacting to the Peshawar High Court's decision to ban the application, the Tik Tak administration said that providing a safe and better environment to Tik Tak users was a top priority, adding that the company had misused content against the rules and regulations.  Using different technologies for search and review.
