ISLAMABAD: German Ambassador called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. According to details, the German Ambassador called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.  According to Pakistan Army Public Relations Department, issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation, including the situation in the region and the Afghan peace process were also discussed during the meeting.  On the occasion, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Germany. Chairman Senate race  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate for chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani intensified contacts

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has nominated Sadiq Sanjrani for the post of Chairman Senate, while the Speaker National Assembly has endorsed Sadiq Sanjrani after he was nominated as the Chairman Senate candidate.  Extended phone and direct contacts.  Sadiq Sanjran contacted MQM Pakistan leader Khalid Maqbool and sought support from the Senate as a candidate.  Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has assured support as a coalition. Sadiq Sanjarani called on National Party Parliamentary Leader Mir Kabir Mohammad Shahi in which Senator Kamal Ali Agha, Mirza Mohammad Afridi, Sajjad Turi and others also participated.  Asked for time to consult the leadership.  The National Party has 2 seats in the Senate.
