58 more deaths from corona virus in Pakistan

A further 58 deaths and 1,262 new cases have been reported in Pakistan due to the global corona virus.

 According to the National Command and Control Center, the total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan has reached 12,276 while the total number of affected people has reached 560,363.

 In the country, 518,164 people have recovered from Corona and the number of patients undergoing treatment is 25,649.

 The highest number of deaths due to corona was in Punjab where 4,994 people lost their lives while 4,183 in Sindh, 1,980 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 483 in Islamabad, 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 197 in Balochistan and  279 people have lost their lives in Azad Kashmir.

 During the second wave of corona, the number of positive cases dropped significantly to 3.9 percent.  The situation is back to pre-November 10 levels.

 According to the National Command and Operations Center, the rate of positive cases of corona in Karachi is 10.68%.  The rate of positive cases in Islamabad is 1.18%, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 5.25%, in Punjab 5.97% and in Sindh 10.23%.

 In Azad Kashmir, the positive cases of Corona are 5.97%, in Balochistan 3.52% and in Gilgit-Baltistan 0.56%.

 Corona vaccination is underway in Pakistan and in the first phase, health workers are being vaccinated against corona.

 Adult vaccination centers have been set up across the country and the entire vaccination process will be controlled by digital mechanisms.

 For the first phase of vaccination, 189 vaccination centers have been set up in Punjab and 14 in Sindh, while 280 vaccination centers have been set up in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 44 in Balochistan and 14 in Islamabad.  Vaccination will be carried out through 25 centers in Azad Kashmir and 16 centers in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The number of corona cases worldwide has increased from 108.72 million and 2,394,018 people have lost their lives.

 More than 87.36 million patients of Corona have been cured in the world and more than 25.43 million are undergoing treatment.

 The Corona situation is the worst in the United States, with 492,521 deaths and more than 281,600,000 affected.

 India ranks second in the world in terms of corona cases, with 155,588 deaths and more than 1892,000 people diagnosed with the virus.

 On November 24, the number of Corona cases was 60 million, on December 10, 2020, the number had reached 70 million, on December 25, the number of cases reached 80 million, on January 9, the cases crossed the figure of 90 million and on January 25,  The cases had crossed 100 million.
